Happy New Year Everyone! I am excited about the New Year….wait…it’s April?!?!? Really????
Obviously, being a grown-up geek means that sometimes the grown-up takes precedence over the geek part and that is what has been going on here at Arbitrary Noise. Both Aaron and I have kids and jobs and all of the responsibilities that go with it. I can’t speak (or type) for Aaron, but I have missed/not seen the following things.

- The Punisher
- Jessica Jones Season 2
- Black Panther
- Stranger Things after season 1
- Westworld
Truth is, if it isn’t Garfield, Gon, Doc McStuffins or something called Hobby Kids on YouTube, I haven’t seen it. It isn’t that I don’t want to see these things, it is just hard to find the time. When I do have time, I tend to sleep. Sleep is good.
One thing I have been working on is listening to all of the Critical Role podcasts that I can. I am up to episode 99 in the first campaign and am looking forward to listening to how it finished and what the 2nd campaign is all about. More to come about how this has influenced me, but it has had a big impact and I am looking forward to how my idea plays out.
Anyway, off to refill the 3-year-old’s water. She can’t quite reach it and I don’t need to see her try (again).
