One of my hopes for 2016 is to read more, so I thought I would share what I’ve managed to finish in 2016. This will be a post I update as often as I can.

Completed
The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson (finished Early January)
- Book 2 in the original Mistborn trilogy. It is a re-read for me and it is just as good as I remember it being.
The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson (finished January 11)
- Book 3 in the original Mistborn series, I enjoyed this again. Knowing the ending makes me more aware of events that happen earlier in the book and I like that.
The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson (finished January 15)
- A fast forward in the Mistborn world, this Western tale sets up a new trilogy by Sanderson.
Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson
- The sequel to Allow of Law, it continued the journey of Wax and Wayne.
The Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson (finished February 10)
- Another book in the Mistborn series, it follows Wax and Wayne as they search for the Lord Ruler’s mythical power.
Armada by Ernest Cline (finished Feburay 20)
- Took me a while to get started on this one but when I did, I finshed Ina few hours due to an amazing nap by my son. Liked it…not as much as Ready Player One, but well worth the read.
